The Alliance of German Science Organisations produced a series of brochures giving an overview of research activities in Germany.
Research and science are fundamental constituents of Germany’s economic success. Through the “Hightech Strategy”, Germany drives cooperation between academia, business and politics and concentrates research and development on five major fields of action: climate and energy; health and nutrition; mobility; security; communications.
The Alliance of German Science Organisations is composed of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, the German Academy of Sciences Leopoldina, the German Academic Exchange Service, the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft, the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, the Helmholtz Association of German Research Centres, the German Rectors’ Conference, the Leibniz Association, the Max Planck Society and the German Council of Science and Humanities.
