Ceremonial Opening of the Research Campus Mittelhessen

Three German universities located in the state of Hesse, which lies in the heart of Germany, the Justus Liebig University Giessen, the Philipps-University Marburg, and  the THM-University of Applied Sciences are founding the Research Campus Mittelhessen.

The Campus, which receives generous support of the Hessian Ministry for Science and the Arts, aims at strengthening regional collaboration projects, especially in the fields of research and supporting early career researchers, and creating future-oriented structures to promote cutting-edge research.

On November 2, 2016 the ceremonial opening of the Research Campus Mittelhessen and the signing of the official cooperation agreement will take place in the Marburg Castle, in the presence of the Hessian Minister for Science and the Arts, Boris Rhein, President of German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), Professor Dr. Margret Wintermantel, and the three presidents of the partner universities Justus Liebig University Giessen, the Philipps-University Marburg, and  the THM-University of Applied Sciences.
